Student Population 2539

Foothill's Fourth Principal

Principal Jeanne Donadio comes to Foothill High School from Boulder City HS this fall to replace Mrs. Crehan who retired last spring. Mrs. Donadio has an energetic personality that will be a great addition to the Foothill Community.



Portables Added to Foothill
Four portables where add this year to the back parking lot because with over 2450 students all the classroom space in the various Foothill building has been used. Where will be go next?

Miracle Minutes
Student council organized a variety of "Miracle Minutes" to help raise funds for the Red Cross to help California wild fire victims($1000), the Salvation Army Angel Tree ($1300), and over $2400 was raise to help Mr. Walker's Family with their pre-mature twins. Thank You Falcons for being generous and kind-hearted!

Penny Wars end in a tie?
Ms. Reser and Mr. Bainbridge share the Penny Bowl title this year, with over $1400 total dollars raised by the National Honor Society to be given to the Leukemia Foundation.

Northwest Accreditation Process
Foothill High School completed it's second Northwest Accreditation process this year. Click here to read the entire Northwest Accreditation Report. The students from YES, Inc. and Falco put their skills to work on April 30th to meet the Northwest Accreditation team that evaluated us.

CCSD Honor Band
Clark County School District Honor Band has 16 Falcons on it for the 2007-2008 season. Congratulation to Mr. Pardee and the 16 hardworking band students!

RSVP
RSVP or Raising Students Voices and Participation started this year at Foothill. RSVP students visited classrooms to discuss issues or problems at Foothill and try to come up with solutions on how to fix the issues. Every student at FHS had an opportunity to voice their concerns.

Sports
Congratulation to Coach Mayes for being voted Coach of the Year (2008). 4th place finish at state in Girls' Softball.

Congratulations to the Girl's Swim Team's 4th place at the State Swim Meet.

Congratulations to Darryl Trotter for winning the Triple Jump State Championship, incredible jump of 49'1" to win the event. Darryl is ranked 15th in the Nation.
