Foothill High School Girls Cross Country Team won their second consecutive Sunrise Region Girls' Championship! It looks like another banner is on its way to grace the walls of our gymnasium. Our boys' cross country team also qualified for the state meet. The coaches, Natalie Thomas and Kevin Soares, did a great job this year!
Sunrise Region Girls Cross Country Coach of the year is Natalie Thomas Congratulations to on being named the Cross Country Coach of the Year. This is Ms. Thomas' Second year receiving this honor.
Foothill's Marching Band and Drill Team
Foothill's Marching Band and Drill Team won the the AAA division of the Las Vegas invitational Marching Competition on in November at Las Vegas High School.
In addition on taking 1st place in their division the Falcons also received:
-Outstanding Music
-Outstanding General Effect
-Division 1 Rating ( Superior )
Student Council and DECA are sponsored the Foothill's annual food drive!
The Scavenger Hunt was a little twist on the food drive. There was a list of many items and each item has a point value. The class that had the most points received a party. The items collected will go to various food banks and organizations in the local community.
Ms. Crehan, our 3rd Principal, Retires
After 3 years as the Principal of the students at Foothill High School, Ms. Crehan decided to retire after learning of her mother's illness. The student council raised over $800 to be given to the ALS Association for research into her mother's illness. Ms. Crehan will be missed!
