Northwest Accreditation

The Northwest Association of Schools and of Colleges and Universities in one of the six regional accreditation associations recognized by the United States Secretary of Education. Having Foothill achieve accreditation is a seal of approval that guarantees that the school meets the standards necessary for effective learning to occur. More information can be found here.

Construction on Foothill's New Building!

Foothill's new addition was completed in the spring of 2003 and will be ready for use in the 2003-2004 school year. At the price tag of 6.5 million this 54,000 square foot addition will be a welcome home for the ten new computer labs, a broadcast studio, and several new rooms for math classes. Also, there will be new rooms for YES, Inc. and the yearbook class.

A Scary Halloween at FHS!

Students make their first Halloween to dress up a frightful one. The goblins, zombies and poltergeists were quite a sight for all to behold.

Foothill National Honor Society Christmas Parade

Foothill's National Honor Society orchestrated the entire Henderson Christmas parade this year. Students took the responsibility to round up floats and spread the word. Many people from the community showed up to view the parade and made it a spectacular success. Informational Flyer.

The Senior Class of 2003 showed their school spirit with the addition of the "Falcon Soar High" painting located in the FHS Gymnasium.


YES, Inc. Students Get the Job!

Students with Yes, Inc. took part in mock job interviews to help prepare themselves for the real world. The YES, Inc. "employees" are grateful for this opportunity as a lifelong learning process.

Every 15 Minutes

Once again, students were given a grim look at how drunk driving has an effect on the community. The Henderson Police Department put together a car crash simulation that portrayed the consequences of drunk driving. >>Read more.

Gift of Bowls Feeds Hungry

Foothill students take part in an event to make bowls to feed the hungry. This great opportunity helped the community and it also gave the students a wonderful chance to show off their artwork. More information can be obtained from the official Empty Bowls web site here.
