Rich Handley
Mr. Handley received his Bachelors of Science Major in Biology, Minor in Chemistry and Math from University of Arizona - Phoenix, along with his Masters in Science, Secondary Education from Nova University. He enjoys coaching golf.



David Dauber


Mr. Dauber has a BS Auburn University and a MEd from Southern Utah University. He enjoys fishing, boating, and kayaking.

Tobias Irish
Mr. Trish teaches Biology I, Biology Honors, and Principles of Science here at Foothill. He grew up and graduated from high school and college in Guam. He likes to play soccer and enjoy the outdoors.



Tina Lahr
Mrs. Lahr has her Bachelors in Secondary Education from University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and is currently working on masters from UNLV. She has two teenage daughters.



Gail Mayes

Mrs. Mayes teaches Biology I, Honors and A.P Biology. She received her B.S. in Physical Education and Zoology from USU. She received her Masters of Education in Technology from Lesley University. She has coached many sports in the past and is the J.V. Volleyball coach this year. They have three children, Tera, Josh and Jessie.



Thomas Mayes


Mr. Mayes received his Bachelors in Physics and Physical Education from Utah State University in 1978 and his Masters in Geoscience from Mississippi State University in 2006. In his free time he likes to coach various sports including football and softball. He also enjoys the outdoors, hunting, and scuba diving. He is married to Mrs. Mayes who also teaches in the science department here at Foothill.




Krysta Ortiz


Ms. Ortiz has her Bachelors of Science in Secondary Education with an Emphasis on Biological and Earth
Sciences from University of Nevada - Las Vegas. Ms. Ortiz teaches Biology and Biology Honors here. She is the Head Varsity Coach for Woman's Volleyball at FHS. She is also a Nevada Juniors Club Volleyball Head Coach at the 15's age group.



Kelley Piano


Ms. Piano teaches Principles of Science and Biology here at Foothill. She went to UNLV for her undergraduate and will be continuing her masters degree there. She is not married and has no kids, but she does have one cute little dog named Inara.
