Welcome to the Foothill's Career and Technical Education (CTE) Department

Domenick Casella
Mr. Casella is the schools head computer "geek". He has a B.A. in Biology from Fordham University - Bronx, NY and a MEd. Educational Technology and Computers from University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He is a retired twenty-year veteran of the Air Force, and has been married to Maryann for seventeen years whom he has two sons with.




Maureen Clark


Mrs. Clark teaches the Computer Graphics, 3D Animation, and Web Design classes here at Foothill. She has a B.S. in Art Education from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis and her Masters In Art Education from Northern Arizona University - Flagstaff. She and her husband love to travel, and they have two Border Collies named Pepper and Ammo. Mrs. Clark became a National Board Certified Teacher in 2006.




Glenna Gaudy


Ms. Gaudy teaches Fashion Design, or sewing, here at Foothill. She has a B.S. in Sociology from Northern Arizona University and a M.S. in Home Economics from Northern Arizona University. She enjoys traveling with her dog and spending time with her family.



Janet Green


Mrs. Green teaches Foods and Nutrition along with Child Development here at Foothill. She was born in Victoria, BC, and graduated from the University of British Colombia. She coaches men's volleyball at Silverado and is a referee during the women's volleyball season. She has 3 cats and two dogs, and she enjoys hiking with her dogs. She also loves cooking and sewing. She enjoys sewing ice skating dresses in her free time.



Julie Rogers


Mrs. Rogers teaches Art, Auto CAD, and Architecture here at Foothill. She has been teaching for seven years, but has been in the area of drafting for much longer. She started her professional career in high school, and has owned her own building design buisness for the past 20 years. She loves her work and strives to continue to expand her knowledge on the area. Her family enjoys a variety of sports and activities.
   


Karen Vaughan

Mrs. Vaughan has been teaching for 15 years. She got her undergraduate and masters degree from UNLV. She has been at Foothill since it opened. Mrs. Vaughan's love of communication skills has brought her to teach Broadcasting and Forensics (speech and debate).She believes that strong oral communications are one of the most important life skills students gain in high school. "I can't imagine doing anything more rewarding with my life than teaching here at Foothill, states Mrs. Vaughan.

Melting chocolate can be tricky. Students learn the proper cooking techniques in Foods I and II.



Building a quilt in Fashion I is one of the big projects that students complete each year.
